Donna May Kaurala

Donna May Kaurala, 77, of Mass City Michigan, passed away on February 29, 2024 at Aspirus Hospital in Laurium Michigan surrounded by family.

Donna Kaurala was born in Ontonagon Michigan to Alfred and Lellea Wells on April 20, 1946. She married Alvin Kaurala on September 7, 1963. She graduated from Mass City High School in 1964. She worked as a Bus Driver for Gogebic/Ontonagon Head Start for 18 years. She was involved with the Mass City Theater Group for many years as an actor and director.

Donna is survived by four children. Raymond (Laurie) Kaurala of Nisula MI, Aaron (Lori) Kaurala of Berkley MI, Elizabeth (Dale) Kemppainen of Iron River MI, and Dale Kaurala of Mass City MI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Alvin. They were married for 58 years and resided in Mass City the entire time.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life and burial at a later time.
